Laser is a painless, safe and effective way to treat the source of your pain and promote healing without adverse side effects.
HCRC is able to offer both Bioflex, Class 3b and LiteCure Class IV laser treatment.
Bioflex Laser Therapy (Low Intensity Laser Therapy – LILT)
Bioflex laser utilizes superluminous and laser diodes to irradiate diseased or traumatized tissue with photons.
These particles of energy are selectively absorbed by the cell membrane and intracellular molecules, resulting in the initiation of a cascade of complex physiological reactions, leading to the restoration of normal cell structure and function.
The process is curative and therefore results in the elimination of symptoms including pain and inflammation. In addition, it enhances the body’s immune system response and facilitates natural healing.
The therapy is safe and has no adverse side effects.
Class IV LiteCure Medical Laser
Our practice is among the first in the area to invest in a Class IV, Deep Tissue Therapy Laser from LiteCure Medical. Drug free, pain relief is the goal for individuals suffering from acute or chronic pain. This innovative and effective technology accelerate your body’s own natural healing process and offers relief from pain, reduced swelling, and increased healing times.
The Deep Tissue Therapy Lasers work by flooding the tissues with photons, energizing the damaged cells and increasing circulation to the painful area. This produces a cascade of healing responses in your body, reducing inflammation, thereby reducing or even eliminating your pain.

How many treatment sessions will I need?
Bioflex treatments are typically thirty minutes to one hour in duration depending on the condition being treated. LiteCure Class IV treatments take only a few minutes.
During your assessment and treatment sessions your therapist will discuss your options and the number of treatments anticipated which can range from 3-5 sessions to regular sessions over a number of weeks depending on the chronicity and the extent of your problem and the pathology involved. Based on the genetic makeup of the cells, an individual’s response to LILT will vary to some degree. A recent clinical review, including 1,000 consecutively treated patients, reveals the average number of Bioflex treatments to be around 10. Laser therapy uses infrared light (not ultraviolet light) is safe to use, non-toxic, and non-invasive.
