Vestibular Rehabilitation is a physiotherapy service focused on helping you if you have symptoms such as vertigo, dizziness, light headedness, nausea, decreased balance or motion sensitivity.
Suffering with vertigo, dizziness and imbalance can be very distressing and result in emotional changes as well as lead to a decline in your physical activity level, function and at times your ability to continue with work tasks, housekeeping and recreation.
Treatment can resolve or help control your symptoms, improve function and quality of life and assist you to return to work and recreational activities.
At HCRC, Vestibular Rehabilitation is provided by an FCAMPT Certified Physiotherapists with many years of experience, specific training, and involvement in ongoing education related to Vestibular Rehabilitation.
A number of techniques, listed below, can be used to address a vestibular problem. If you are also experiencing cervical spine/neck pain, postural changes, muscle imbalance or reduced movement, treatment of the cervical spine may also be provided.
